GUITAR ACE - LINK WRAY TRIBUTE

The folks over at Musick Records have done good!  They have assembled a stellar line-up of current bands that have been influenced by the Linkster.  They have recorded some of Link's greatest hits, as well as some of Link's lost treasures.  You've got the standard JACK THE RIPPER, RAWHIDE and RUMBLE...but you'd never expect a cover of I'M SO GLAD, I'M SO PROUD would you?

Not only is GUITAR ACE a worthy addition to your record collection, pick up a few for gifts to initiate the uneducated to Link Wray.   There are EXCELLENT liner notes from Gregory Nicoll, where he not only gives the low-down on each original track, he also provides great info on each band doing the cuts on this CD!  Oh yeah...he gives a shout out to us too!  (thanks much!)

Hey, it's also the very first Link tribute ever released on CD!  What are you waiting for?   Tell the folks over at Musick you saw it on WraysShack3Tracks.com!

Review from the September 2003 issue of GUITAR PLAYER magazine -

Anything that acknowledges the feral majesty of Mr. Link Wray is A-OK in my book.  This compilation does the job by offering some cool moments (Deke Dickerson, Dave Wronski, Boss Martians, Pollo Del Mar), but the mostly sedate covers ultimately prove that the man is still the man.

"They're Outta Here," says Archie - the long lost Link Wray Cadence recordings...IN STOCK NOW!!!
