The
liner notes to this bootleg states that it was
recorded at Wally Heider Studios in San Francisco. This
is the same studio in San Francisco where Link recorded some of his Polydor
recordings.
My
guess is that it is a rough demo for a 4th Polydor release. The
tracks sound as if they were recorded during the time period of
STUCK IN GEAR,
right after his last Polydor record. Perhaps this is the rough studio
mixes for the never-released INTERSTATE 10.
