Released on Ray Vernon's VERMILLION records.  Link wrote a short note on the back of the record jacket -

To my many friends,

Both fans and DJ's, I would like to express my deep gratitude for helping me do what I like best, entertain you.

I have been playing guitar and singing since I was big enough to hold a guitar, first in church and school, then in the Army both stateside and in Germany.  In 1958, I was very lucky to have my first record become a hit.  It was a guitar instrumental called RUMBLE.

I have been ver fortunate to have had several hits since then, both singles and albums.  They were all insturmentals and now in answer to the request of my fans who have asked me to record some vocals, I have recorded this album.  I hope you will except (sic) it as warmly as you have my instrumentals.

Sincerely,
Link Wray
