Pictured above is a postcard from the late 50's and a new picture of Howards.  Howard's is one of the very few (if not the only) original roadhouses still standing in Waldorf.  The rest have been razed for Sam's Club, Home Depot and the rest of those cookie cutter places that you see in almost every town across the US.

Link probably played here in the 50's and 60's, as it was in the strip of nightspots having slots and live music.

In the 1970s and early 1980s, Doug Wray was a regular act here, playing country music.  Vernon stopped by a few times, and there is a bootleg tape that exists of one of Doug's shows with Link and Ray sitting in with the band.

"They're Outta Here," says Archie - the long lost Link Wray Cadence recordings...IN STOCK NOW!!!
