Throughout the 1960s, the Wray family became established in Accokeek.  The building pictured above left housed the Wray Market and the Wray Pool Hall throughout the 1960s.  In the early 1990s, the building was home to the Christian Community Church, as evidenced by the sign I found laying in the front yard of the building, pictured above right.


4-7-2001 UPDATE!  It looks like the building  has received new life as a church outreach center, as noted by the new sign.
