In an interview with Mark Opsasnick in the book CAPITOL ROCK, one of the Kalin Twins mentions that it was during a General Artist Corporation package tour that they suggested that Link try wearing a leather jacket on stage and see what kind of reaction he would get, as "Rumble" was a dark, brooding song.
