SPRING LAKE MOTEL
Route 301 North, Waldorf MD
Although it can not be confirmed, Link may have played the Spring Lake Hotel, a popular club of the day. In later incarnations, this building had the walk-around porch removed and operated as a beauty shop and "The Cuckoo's Nest" nightclub.
The building was razed in the late 1980s/early 1990s. It then served as a storage lot for a place that sold pick up truck bed caps.
The site of the Spring Lake Motel is now a bypass route on/off ramp for Route 301/5 near Mattawoman Beantown Road in Waldorf.
