SURRATTSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

The book CAPITOL ROCK lists one of the many places that Link Wray and the Wraymen played as Surrattsville High School during the early to mid 1960's.
This was a pretty cool discovery for me, as I am an alumni of Surrattsville.
In the 1960's the band probably played in what is now the school cafeteria. The school has undergone extensive modifications since then, but one thing that hasn't changed is the cafeteria, complete with the old wood stage!
In the picture above, the cafeteria is located to the right of the main entrance (next to the "green" in the picture), on the other side of the large windows.
