Pictured above (left to right) is a postcard from the 1950s, the 1960s, and a new picture of the Waldorf Restaurant and Motel.  It now operates under the name Rip's Restaurant, although the large WALDORF MOTEL AND RESTAURANT signs are still up and lit every night.  Below is a pic of the motel during the night in the late 60s, with the neon glowing, depicting what it may have looked like on a typical night with the Wraymen playing a gig.

Renovations through the years have included an upstairs floor with a large dance floor.  Behind the building are several motel rooms.

On the postcard at the top left, note the slot machines in the top right corner of the postcard.  In the 50's and 60's, Waldorf was a "Little Vegas" with many roadhouses along Route 301.  Many stars such as Link, Patsy Cline, Roy Clark, Kris Kristofferson and others played along the strip.

Postcards from this motel surface frequently on eBay.
