Pictured above is the Wray home in Accokeek
Maryland. Many books, magazine articles and record liner notes refer to
this place as the "Wray Farm".
In the 1960s, Accokeek was in a rural area of Prince
George's County Maryland, about 20 miles south of Washington D.C.
In the 1970s, "progress" arrived and hasn't
looked back. Accokeek is now a suburb of Washington. Although there
are many older homes in the area, right next to the Wray home is a newer housing
development.
