HEY! GOT A BAND THAT DOES
LINK WRAY STYLE MUSIC?
GET AIRPLAY ON LINK WRAYdio!
Due to regulations of Internet Radio, we are
limited to a specific number of cuts we can play by a specific artist each hour.
That's why we can't be "all Link all the time". So....
We are looking for songs to program on LINK
WRAYdio. So if you are a Link Wray inspired band or artist, SEND US YOUR
WORK!
All we need is an mp3 with the title of the
song, artist and release. We'll get it up in rotation pronto.
Live365 allows people that hear your music to BUY IT thru Live365. So help
us out, and you might make a few bucks!
Thanks for your support!

How
do I listen using iTunes?
- You will need to set
iTunes as the default player for Internet music playback.
Mac OS X: In the iTunes preferences, under General Settings, click the
"Set" button next to "Use iTunes for Internet music
playback."
Windows: In the iTunes preferences, under the "General" tab,
click the check box next to "Use iTunes as the default player for
audio files."
Next, you will need to change your Live365 Listening Settings to "mp3
player." Go to the Listening Settings page, select "mp3
player" as your player choice and save your settings.
Now, when you launch a station, the Live365 Player Window will still load.
After it loads completely, a small file will be downloaded and opened in
iTunes, and the station you selected should begin to play.

-
Can
I record the stream of your station so I can listen to it later?
- Due to legal reasons, you
can not save the stream of the Live365 broadcast to your hard drive. You
can only listen to the broadcasts with a player. We recommend using Player365.
-
What
does "mp3PRO" mean?
- mp3PRO is the next
generation of MP3. Fully compatible with the existing MP3 format, mp3PRO
extends its capability to provide CD-quality stereo at 64Kbps with full
frequency bandwidth. Already deployed by consumer electronics companies
like RCA and Philips, mp3PRO is migrating to replace MP3. mp3PRO players
can play MP3 and mp3PRO content meaning you can still deploy only one
codec and not lose compatibility with the world's most popular Internet
music format. When you go mp3PRO, it just sounds better. Supported
platforms: Win32, Linux, MacOS X.
Availability. Free mp3PRO players, limited encoders, and a Winamp plug-in
can be downloaded from the mp3PRO
Zone.
Free Live365 optimized Player365 (recommended) is available here.

What
is Player365? How do I set up or download Player365?
- Player365 is a small,
easy-to-use player that was expressly developed with the needs of
Live365's listeners in mind. Player365 is free. Some of its features
include:
- Automatic
reconnection if the broadcast drops;
- Quick
download and automatic installation.
Moreover, Player365 won't
interfere with other audio software you may have installed for other uses.
To set up your browser to use Player365 all you need to do is log in to your
Live365 account, go to the MyLive365 tab, and click the Listen
Settings link. Now, select the Player365 radio button in the Mp3
Player box and press the "Save Settings" button at the bottom of
the page. The next time you launch a Live365 station, Player365 will
automatically download to your computer. Just go to your Presets page and
start listening to your favorite broadcast.
Click
here to download Player365.
-
How
do I add and remove presets?
- You must be a member of
Live365 and logged into your account to add or remove presets.
To add a station as a preset, click the
icon in the directory, listed to the right of the title of the station
you'd like to add, or click the same
icon in the Player Window of the station. To remove a station from your
presets, go to your My
Presets page and click on the
icon, to the right of the title of the station you'd like to remove.
-
Why
do I hear, "We're sorry. You've reached a station that is unavailable
at this time. Please try again later" on every station?
- Your browser is most
likely using old information to locate the broadcast. Clear your browser's
temporary internet files (called "cache") and try again. This
will force your browser to get new information on the current location of
the broadcast from the server.
-
Why
does the broadcast skip while listening?
- Make sure your modem
connection is the same or higher than the bitrate. (You cannot listen to a
64K bitrate stream with a 56K modem.)
If you use Real Player or Windows Media Player, you may experience
skipping or dropping. Live365 recommends using their default player, Player365.
Sometimes the buffer size can be adjusted. For Winamp, Control-P will
display Preferences. Select Plug-ins/Input, then select the Nullsoft MPEG
audio decoder plug-in. Click on Configure. Select the Streaming tab of the
window, and increase the Streaming Buffer sliders. Click OK, click Close.
Check to see if your computer meets the minimum requirements for Windows
or Mac.
